Word for Today ~ “GOD IS WITH YOU” Zechariah 8:23, “23 Thus saith the Lord of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you.” God wants you to know that there is a major transition coming. You are about to experience a mountaintop anointing. You are entering a season of double blessings. This double blessing was spoken in Zechariah 9:12, “Turn you to the strong hold, ye prisoners of hope: even today do I declare that I will render double unto thee.” If you are already operating at a high level of anointing expect for it to be even higher. You are about to experience awesome angelic support. You will experience people coming to you for solutions. Do not turn away networking opportunities. Do not hesitate to connect with others that are outside of your sphere of influence. There are key strategies God intends to release as a result of this connection. Do not be shaken by it. This is a new day. Therefore, make sure you operate out of love and not out of the old way of how you feel or how good you are. Bishop D.

Word for Today ~ “GOD IS HITTING THE RESET BUTTON” Deuteronomy 30:3, “That then the Lord thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the Lord thy God hath scattered thee.” God said many of you have been in a fierce battle. You have been fighting these battles for your life. You have been crying out to God and saying, “Lord, when will this end?” But God is decreeing that this is your greatest new beginning! Where you thought you had come to the end and could not go on, God has brought you to the place of promotion. God said for in these fierce battles, He has placed things within you that you have not yet seen. All of the things that the enemy has caused is about to fall off of you. The fear and weariness are about to fall to the ground. All of the issues with your health are about to be healed. God is doing a RESET. Where you have been knocked down and broken, God is restoring and resetting. All of your broken and stolen places shall be restored. Bishop D.

Word for Today ~ “GO” Mark 16:15, “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” God said it is time for you to GO. Your empty season has ended. God is birthing something through you that you didn't see coming. Friends, family and others won't be able to comprehend why God would give you such honor and favor. You have been walking around not knowing that you are carrying the prophetic promise to this generation. This birthing is the baby you didn’t expect. Just when you thought your days of birthing and dreaming were done, God is birthing something through you that will advance the Kingdom of God. Will you say YES to God and GO? When Jesus commissioned the disciples in Mark 16, he told them to GO. The Greek meaning of the word “GO” is “to transport something from one destination to another or to go or depart.” God has commissioned you with a “GO” to draw out of you what you are carrying to distribute to others. Word for Today ~ "TRUST IN GOD" Psalm 68:1-4, “Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him. As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God. But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice. Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him. No matter what you are facing TRUST God. Rise up and put doubt under your feet. Put every word of accusation against God under your feet. Put all circumstantial evidence that has come against God under your feet. You must stomp it out with the Word of God. You are a part of the remnant that God has chosen to rise up and say IN GOD I TRUST. It only takes a remnant to win the battle. It only takes a remnant to put their trust in God. You are a part of that remnant. Bishop D.

Word for Today ~ "GOOD TREASURES OF THE HEART" Luke 6:45-46, “A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?” In order to release the power of the Holy Spirit within you and help a hurting world, you must allow God’s Word to penetrate your hearts and renew your mind. You must come into alignment with the truth and understanding of God's character to grow and transform into the likeness of Jesus Christ. The kingdom of God is not just in words, but in power. Your life has been tainted with everything you have experienced before you were saved. But the more you walk in obedience to God as you are lead by the Holy Spirit, the more healing and freedom begins to occur. You should focus on living your life from the inside out and not from the outside in. Jeremiah 17:9 says the heart is wicked and everything flows from it, which is why you should guard it. You can assess the condition of your heart by evaluating what you do. The devil wants to keep you stuck and powerless. Therefore, you must deny the flesh and bring your will under the submission of God and His ways. Bishop D.

Word for Today ~ “YOU WILL RECOVER ALL” 1 Samuel 30:18-19, “ And David recovered all that the Amalekites had carried away: and David rescued his two wives. And there was nothing lacking to them, neither small nor great, neither sons nor daughters, neither spoil, nor any thing that they had taken to them: David recovered all.” When calamity comes in, stand steadfast in the armor that God has provided for you. God said you must continue to resist all discouragement and stand, knowing that He has given you the ability and the authority to overcome every assault the devil is raising up against you. You must not deviate or abandon the truth but stand steadfast to your convictions. Do not allow the enemy to intimidate you. Do not allow fear and bitterness to take root. You must refuse to be moved by situations in the natural. Take every thought captive and trust God for your provision. God said although the battle has been fierce at times and there are things that seem to be destroyed and lost forever, you will recover all that has been stolen from you by the enemy. You must continue to encourage yourself in God and you will regain your spiritual momentum. Bishop D.

Word for Today ~ “IT’S TIME TO STEP UP” 1 Kings 18:20-21, “So Ahab sent unto all the children of Israel, and gathered the prophets together unto mount Carmel. And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the Lord be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.” When Israel started to worship Baal and looked to him as their source of provision, God sent Elijah to confront King Ahab. Elijah told King Ahab that “…there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.” No rain meant no harvest and no provision. King Ahab called Elijah a troublemaker of Israel when in fact he was the troublemaker of Israel by allowing Queen Jezebel to promote the worship of Baal. After 3 years of no rain, Elijah confronted King Ahab, the false prophets and the entire nation. Elijah set up a test. He placed a sacrifice on the altar. He said the God who answered by fire and consumed the sacrifice was the true God. King Ahab and the false prophets accepted the challenge. The false prophets called on their god all day but no answer. Elijah called on God and He answered with fire and consumed the sacrifice. After that, Elijah fled to Mount Horeb and God commissioned him to anoint Hazael as king of Syria, Jehu as king of Israel, and Elisha as a prophet in his place. It was at Mount Carmel that Elijah confronted King Ahab, the false prophets and the nation. It was at Mount Horeb that God commissioned Elijah to anoint 2 individuals to become kings and a prophet to take his place. God wants you to know that victories can often look like defeat and defeat can often look like victories. When Elijah defeated the false prophets of Baal at Mount Carmel there was a change in the spiritual atmosphere over the nation. The true prophets of God were able to come out of hiding. Confrontations are necessary but don’t overlook the commissioning that is taking place. In the midst of confusion and chaos, God is anointing a new generation of Believers to step forward and take up the mantle. Be encouraged. It’s time for you to step up. Bishop D.

Word for Today ~ "HOLD ON TO THE PROMISES OF GOD" Genesis 25:23, “And the Lord said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.” God is faithful and nothing can block or stop His purpose on the earth. When Rebekah was pregnant with twins (Esau and Jacob), God told her (Genesis 25:23) that "...Two nations are in your womb, and two peoples from within you will be separated; one people will be stronger than the other, and the older will serve the younger." Esau was born first and although tradition dictated that the birthright went to the oldest son, Jacob convinced Esau to surrender it when Esau was desperately hungry one afternoon. In Genesis 27, Jacob fools his father Isaac into giving him the blessing instead of Esau. Even though tradition did not allow for the younger son to receive the birthright and the blessing of the older son, what God had prophesied to Rebekah before her sons were born came to pass. God had a purpose in blessing Jacob and tradition couldn't stand in the way of God's plan. So what does this mean for you? It means that no matter how things may appear, what the test results say, or even what your bank account reads, God will be true to His word. His answer may not add up or make sense, but what God promised will come to pass. Therefore, stand in faith on the words that God has given you. Hold on to the promises God has spoken into your spirit, and don't let go of what you know in your heart to be true. Bishop D.

Word for Today ~ “GOD WILL FIGHT FOR YOU” Isaiah 30:31, “For through the voice of the Lord shall the Assyrian be beaten down, which smote with a rod.” God said the devil is spreading poison about you to attack the vision He has given you. The devil is sowing discord and stirring up trouble to hinder your progress. The devil wants you to think that God is not going to save you from his attacks. The devil wants you to think that God is not going to fight for you. The devil wants you to doubt God. Don’t listen to the lies of the devil. It’s time to pray. As a matter of fact, it’s time to ask other Believers to stand in prayer with you and for you. When Sennacherib, king of Assyria, laid siege to Jerusalem under the rule of King Hezekiah, things looked bad. But Hezekiah prayed and God sent a word through the prophet Isaiah telling him not to be afraid. Isaiah told Hezekiah that God said not one arrow will come into the city. God sent one angel down to destroy 185,000 Assyrians within 24 hours. If you think what you are going through is huge, remember it only took one angel to defeat the enemy. God sent one angel down to deal with Hezekiah’s problem. So be encouraged, hear what God is saying to you. Stop listening to the voice of the enemy. Not weapon formed against you shall prosper. Word for Today ~ "ARE YOU ONE OF THEM?" Hebrews 11:39-40, “And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.” Is God calling you to disciple entire nations? I know you are thinking – ME? Not ME? My travel is limited. Well, Your travel may be limited and you don’t know that many people. But remember, Abraham, Sarah, Isaac and Jacobs travel was limited. They probably didn’t know that many people as well. But they trusted God and had a vision for Heaven’s promise. They had faith in God. God wants you to know that you are the platform that He will use to establish transformation in people’s lives. Do you have the faith of Abraham to contend for a future generation that trust God? Are you willing to make yourself available to nurture and disciple this emerging generation? They need the help of spiritual fathers and mothers to build character within them from the inside out. They need you to walk along side of them. Are you one of them? Bishop D.

“STEPPING INTO ABUNDANCE” Isaiah 45:2-3, “ I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron: And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the Lord, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.” Faith and Trust are two separate things, but when they ride together. Faith and Trust helps to build your spiritual muscles. When your faith begins to slow down in the testing, your trust remains steadfast and keeps pushing forward. Matthew 11:20 says , “…If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.” Your faith can be as tiny as a mustard seed, but combined with your trust, it moves mountains. It breaks in pieces gates of brass and cuts asunder the bars of iron. It is time for you to step into abundant health, provision, and joy. It’s time to shake off impoverished thinking. You are a child of the most High King. Bishop D.

"SEE YOUR FUTURE” 2 Corinthians 4:17-18, “ For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” If you just focus on the crisis of the moment, you will never step into the future. As long as your focus is on the circumstances that are at hand, you will never be able to walk into the greater glory that is trying to come forth in your life. It’s time to take the things God has shown you in past seasons and begin to live like they are already here. It’s time to walk into what God has planned for you and ordained for you to walk in. It’s time for you to stop living in past glories. God set this up before the foundation of the world. If you will walk in the things that you behold and act as if they are already finished, then you will see Heaven break forth into the earthly realm. Are you ready for Heaven to break forth into your life? See the future and live like you’re there. Stop living like you are bound by your circumstances. Bishop D.

Word for Today ~ "GOD WANTS TO USE YOU" 1 Samuel 17:37, “ David said moreover, The Lord that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the Lord be with thee.” God has big plans for you. Just like God had big plans for David, He also has big plans for you. God wants to use you in ways that are beyond your imagination. Paul told the church at Corinth that eyes have not seen, nor ears heard, nor the heart can imagine what God has prepared for those who love Him (1 Corinthians 2:9). One strand of fiber can be pulled apart easily, but several strands of fiber wrapped together are difficult to pull apart. God wants to use you and other Believers in big ways. As you submit to God in obedience, He will use you more and more. Believe God’s plan for bigger things to happen. God’s plans are bigger than you think. Stay humble and obedient and watch miracles happen all around you. Bishop D.

Word for Today ~ “BOUNCE BACK” Acts 14:19-22, “And there came thither certain Jews from Antioch and Iconium, who persuaded the people, and having stoned Paul, drew him out of the city, supposing he had been dead. Howbeit, as the disciples stood round about him, he rose up, and came into the city: and the next day he departed with Barnabas to Derbe. And when they had preached the gospel to that city, and had taught many, they returned again to Lystra, and to Iconium, and Antioch. Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.” The devil hit you so hard until all the breath was knocked out of you. He thought you were out for the count. As you lay on the floor, the devil smiled and thought you wouldn’t get up from that blow. But God said not so. It’s time for you to bounce back. It’s time for you to rebound. It’s time for you to recover all. It’s time for you to ascend to a higher level. What the devil designed to destroy you, God is using to propel you to a greater height. So get ready to bounce out of hard places. Get ready to spring back from painful places. You cannot stay down because God has determined it’s your time to rebound and recover all that was stolen from you. Bishop D.
